Overview

Unit enables businesses to embed financial features directly into their products, accelerating the launch of banking experiences. As the company expanded, the brand needed to match its ambition, engaging enterprise buyers, supporting longer sales cycles and giving the team the ability to move quickly at scale.

Our latest collaboration focused on that shift. We evolved their story and identity, and built a website that combined the authority needed to sell into larger organisations with the flexibility to keep pace with growth.

Today, Unit is recognised as one of the most influential fintech companies in the world, backed by leading investors, trusted by major partners and featured in top industry press.

Where we started.

Our partnership with Unit began in 2021 with the launch of their original brand and website. That work helped the company gain traction with developers and product teams and became a widely referenced benchmark in the embedded finance category. The latest evolution builds on that foundation, carrying forward what made Unit successful while preparing the brand for its next chapter.

An enterprise-ready presence.

Scaling into larger organisations brought new stakeholders into the decision, with business leaders becoming as central to the process as technical teams. The brand evolved to meet that shift, with messaging, hierarchy and visual language designed to convey clarity and confidence. It now speaks with equal authority to technical and business audiences alike.

Clarity in a crowded market.

Unit had already established itself as a leader in embedded finance, but the category itself was still messy and inconsistently defined. To move beyond early traction, the company needed a clearer, outcome-led story that would resonate with both technical and business audiences. We worked with the team to refine the narrative and carry it through the website, from the way use cases are structured to how features and proof points are explained. That clarity gave Unit a stronger position in the market and created the foundation for everything that followed.

Owning the category story.

Early conversations about embedded finance often focused on infrastructure and narrow labels like “BaaS.” Unit elevated the narrative by framing embedded finance as a platform for building new financial products and customer experiences. That shift established the company as one of the defining voices in how the category is understood today.

Making the invisible tangible.

Embedded finance is powerful but largely hidden, which makes it challenging for decision-makers to grasp. Unit’s website addresses that by showing what the platform enables within the first few scrolls. Product demos, layered navigation and outcome-led copy make the value of embedded finance tangible, giving prospects a direct view of what they could build with Unit.

Building a platform for growth.

The new website was designed as more than a front door. It gives Unit’s team the ability to launch campaigns, product updates and go-to-market motions at speed, all while staying consistent and on-brand. A modular CMS and refined design system reduce reliance on developers and give marketing the flexibility to adapt quickly. The result is a platform for growth that matches Unit’s pace and ambition.
